ABOUT HUSNA

My work with leaders began long before I became a coach.

I'm Husna Syeda, an Executive & Leadership Coach, ICF PCC and Board Certified Coach. I work with senior leaders, women leaders, leadership teams, and organizations navigating complexity, greater responsibility, and change.

My work draws on more than two decades across human resources, organizational development, business consulting, technology transformation, and leadership coaching. That combination lets me see leadership from both sides: the person carrying the responsibility and the organization depending on the outcome.

WHAT DRIVES ME

Leadership is not only a title. It is a way of being.

I am deeply curious about what helps leaders grow, especially in complex and uncertain environments.

“My work lives in the gap between who a leader intends to be and who they become under pressure.”

Meaningful transformation begins when leaders stop solving only the problem and start understanding the people, patterns, and purpose beneath it. I help leaders close that gap so their values, voice, and decisions tell the same story.

MY JOURNEY

Different rooms. Different roles. One question that kept following me.

For more than 20 years, my work has moved across human resources, organizational development, business consulting, technology transformation, and leadership coaching. Through transition, restructuring, and difficult conversations, one question stayed with me: what does change actually cost the people asked to carry it?

Husna Syeda

Early Career

Built a strong foundation in HR, talent, and people leadership.

Enterprise Experience

Worked across global organizations supporting talent, culture, leadership, and transformation.

Technology & Change

Worked in complex transformation environments where alignment, communication, and adoption mattered as much as the technology.

Executive Coaching

Today I help leaders think, decide, communicate, and lead with greater clarity, confidence, and impact.

MY COACHING PHILOSOPHY

Leadership is personal, and so is my approach to coaching.

My approach is personalized, evidence-based, and grounded in organizational psychology, emotional intelligence, lived leadership experience, and practical development. The goal is not insight for its own sake, but insight that changes how a leader chooses and acts.

Reflection
01 · Reflection

Create space to pause.

Step outside the immediate pressure long enough to see the situation more clearly.

Awareness
02 · Awareness

See what is really happening.

Examine assumptions, patterns, strengths, emotional responses, and impact.

Choice
03 · Choice

Consider new possibilities.

Move from automatic response to deliberate judgment and a wider range of options.

Action
04 · Action

Turn insight into progress.

Align values, voice, decisions, and behavior with the leader you want to be.

Academic Foundation

  • MS, Industrial-Organizational Psychology
  • MA, Organizational Leadership
  • MBA, Business Administration
  • MBA, Human Resource Management

I bring together coaching expertise, real-world leadership and transformation experience, and a strong academic foundation. The combination matters because senior leaders rarely arrive with a problem that fits neatly into one category.

Additional professional development in emotional intelligence, advanced listening, coaching with metaphors, consulting skills, AI-enabled coaching, and perceptual-shift coaching.

HOW I WORK

How I show up in the coaching room.

Warm but direct

A supportive space with honest conversations, not comfortable avoidance.

Reflective but practical

Insight is useful only when it changes judgment, behavior, or action.

Human-centered but strategically grounded

A deep understanding of people and organizational realities sits underneath the work.

BEYOND COACHING

The work beyond one to one coaching.

Coaching is one part of a wider body of work. Leadership Exchange, speaking, writing, and my focus on women’s leadership give me different ways to examine the same question: how can leaders create impact without losing the human side of leadership?
